Vedlis / Terms of Use
Terms of Use
These terms apply to the Vedlis app at app.vedlis.lv and the websites vedlis.lv and vedlis.com. Pilot version, effective from 18.10.2026.
Who provides the service
Vedlis is developed and maintained by SIA "KMR Business", registration No. 53603071411, registered address: Sudrabu Edžus iela 15-64, Jelgava, LV-3001. Send questions to info@vedlis.lv.
What Vedlis is
Vedlis is accounting software with artificial intelligence for small businesses in Latvia. The website also offers free tools that do not require an account. The app is in a closed trial phase: only invited companies use it. During the pilot, features may change and the app may be temporarily unavailable.
Account and sign-in
You sign in to the app using a Google account or a link sent by email and two-step verification. You are responsible for your account and devices and must not give others access. If a security risk arises or these terms are breached, we may suspend access.
Data
Accounting data and documents belong to the company that enters or connects them. We process them only to provide the service. Data is stored in the European Union. We provide the company’s data on request. For information about data processing, see the Privacy (in Latvian) page.
Bank data
If the company connects a bank account, Enable Banking Oy provides Vedlis with account information (accounts, balances and transactions). It is a licensed account information service provider supervised by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA). You grant access through your bank. This access is valid for up to 180 days and can be revoked at any time in Vedlis or through the bank. Vedlis does not see bank passwords or make payments.
Artificial intelligence
Vedlis reads PDF documents containing text and e-invoices itself. To read scanned invoices, the company can use its own Claude or ChatGPT account or API key. The documents are then sent to the relevant service (usually in the USA) to be read, and that service’s terms apply to this processing.
Liability
Vedlis helps prepare accounting entries, tax returns and reports, but the company and its accountant are responsible for the accounting and submitted tax returns. Tax returns must be checked before submission. During the pilot, we do not promise that the app will operate without interruptions or errors. We are liable for losses we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, to the extent provided by law.
Fees
Vedlis is free during the pilot. We will give notice before introducing fees. Continued use will require the company’s consent.
Changes and applicable law
We may change these terms. We will give notice of significant changes by email or in the app at least 14 days in advance. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia.
